Rachel Reeves attend an EU Group meeting today which involves the finance ministers of the European Union.
The UK government wants a closer and tighter relationship with the European Union while sticking to their red lines of not rejoining the EU, not being a member of the customs union as well as the single market.
They want to get agreements so that it can be easier for businesses to trade between the EU and UK.
