Rome believes that Peter was the first pope of a line of successive popes stretching out throughout the centuries. One passage of Scripture which has been infallibly interpreted by the church of Rome is Matthew Chapter 16. The Roman church claims that in this passage of Scripture, the Lord Jesus clearly stated that Peter is the rock of the church. In this video, I provide a refutation of this false claim.
