Putting my brand new Traxxas MAXX (model 89086-4) through its paces after having the VXL-4s ESC (Electronic Speed Control) warrantied after 2-3 battery cycles and 2 weeks of ownership.
Traxxas came through without issue on the warranty, and they made it very easy and straightforward; I only had to pay shipping to them.
Seems it's running as it should and I'm happy with it. I'd highly recommend this model to anyone looking to get into Electric R/C and wants something durable and to really hit the backyard or a track up for some fun.
I have found the videos and forum posts on hard impacts, such as seen on my video and what I put this thing through, of the fan casing compressing and possibly inhibiting the fan from spinning; probably what casued my fan to stop spinning closer to the end of this video. The new aluminim fan should take care of that!
This is my first video edit I've ever done, go easy please!
Next video will be the aluminum fan upgrade, which is supposed to arrive in another day. That (should) be short and to the point. Find that here: [ Ссылка ]
