Nkanyamba tells Gagashe that Seipati's days are numbered and that he should make sure that her last day is a memorable one. Gagashe tries to find another way around what Nkanyamba says but is unsuccessful. Later Seipati wakes up from a nightmare and finds that Gagashe is not in the house. She looks for him in the cottage and finds him pleading with Mandlakhe.
