What would you do if you had a chance to do goodwill, would you remain a passive observer or would you use the resources available towards bringing a change? Tavissi Jain chose the latter. In her inspiring speech, Tavissi lays in front of us the fruits of dedicated labour, and the importance of empathetic volunteering. Join Tavissi on her journey from being a bystander to a good samaritan, from being indifferent to making a difference. Tavissi Jain, one of the 2nd Wave Superheroes, is the founder of Coimbatore COVID Aid (CCA), a student collective that aims to provide COVID relief initiatives to support marginalized communities. She's an alumna of the Philosophy department of Miranda House, Delhi University, who had helped set up a covid helpdesk for the Delhi-NCR region serving as the all important oxygen coordinator, relentlessly verifying leads and disseminating information. Her passion to give back to the society and to spread goodwill really shines through all her volunteer work! This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
