Limpopo police are worried about the increase in the smuggling of stolen vehicles and illicit goods through the porous Beitbridge border fence. Law enforcement agencies in South Africa and Zimbabwe have carried out simultaneous crime prevention operations on both sides of the Border. Local authorities also deployed a roadblock on the busy N1 as part of the operation.
