In a statement released by its official mouthpiece al-Sahab media, the terror group claims that its "mujahideen" are ready to blow themselves up in Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. The Al-Qaeda threat statement mentioned the ruling party as "Hindutva terrorists occupying India" and claimed that their fighters would die for the dignity of the Prophet. It also repeated claims about a so-called Muslim victory in the battle for India or Ghazwa-e-Hind. In most parts of the Middle East, the terror group Islamic State has overtaken the Al Qaeda. So is this latest threat a desperate attempt by Al Qaeda, to stay relevant?
