Rode VideoMicro and Rode Wireless Go are two incredible and affordable microphones! Rode VideoMicro does not require a battery and connects directly to the camera's microphone input. It will attach to most camera's shoes and has a nice furry windscreen. Rode Wireless Go has a built-in battery and recharges via USB-C. Rode Wireless Go has an integrated microphone but the Rode Lavalier Go microphone can be optionally attached. It comes with a really nice furry windscreen. Within this video, I compare Rode VideoMicro and Rode Wireless Go audio quality. I love both microphones and use extensively for different filming scenarios.
