If you want to mount an Arlo Pro security camera but don't want to have to drill holes then I've got a great solution for you! This is the Wasserstein Twist Mount. This can be used in a lot of places where the typical mounts aren't practical like trees or metal fences. It's very simple in design and it looks like a silicon sleeve with a flexible arm on top. The whole unit is very soft and it can be used without damaging the surfaces it's attached to.
The model shown in the video fits Arlo Pro and Arlo Pro 2 cameras but Wasserstein makes twist mounts for other cameras as well. Inserting an Arlo camera is a little awkward but it's not really too difficult. It's just that it's really flexible and will take a little bit of finesse to get it slipped in completely. But once the twist mount is on it fits like a skin.
There's a cutout in the bottom for the speaker and the back is open so that the USB port can still be accessed. On the front, there's a small lens hood to keep out reflections and rain. The flexible arm is long enough to wrap around things like branches, railings, fences and more. It works great as a tree mount for Arlo cameras where you don't want drill into. And trees are often a great place to hide a security camera. As a tree mount for Arlo cameras, I think it works great! And it can be moved around quickly and easily without causing any damage.
One thing I've seen people post in reviews is that the front hood causes reflection from the night vision LED. Personally I don't find that to be true. The images are just as clear as without the hood.
