Details: 15 ft across and about 12+ ft off the ground (mainly supported by 4 dead tree trunks each buried 4 ft under the ground w/ 2 large trash bags tied around each base to protect from decay, wetness, etc....the metal on the sides is mainly for stability and to keep the horizontal tree pieces from sagging/breaking in the middle). These dead trees were cut by hand with a bow saw and moved by hand to the site upon which the structure sits. At that's only the tip of the iceberg of the work I put into it. It's not complete, so we'll see more of a finished exhibition in upcoming videos, as well as more on how I made it. Both the crossing and the climb up were made without the use of my left index finger, as I accidentally cut that a bit while it was under construction. The structure can also be used for many other moves besides brachiation, like hanging between vertical pieces with your arms only & other orangutan inspired moves. The construction took a few days (close to a week for the main structure) due to the fact that all the things that needed to be aligned properly took awhile to collect, construct, assemble, and test safely.
