Not eating all day isn’t a badge of honor or something to be bragging about…
As a Registered Dietitian I encourage my clients to eat regular meals and snacks that in return will:
✅Promote consistent hunger + fullness cues
✅Support a healthy metabolism and hormone levels
✅Balance blood sugar
✅Reduce urges to binge at night
✅Reduce food fixation throughout the day
When we start restricting calories, skip meals and survive off the bare minimum - this can create a vicious restrict/binge cycle with food and over time can lead to slowed metabolism, weight instability, hormone imbalances, digestive issues and a chronic fixation with food.
