On June 11, 2018, Stanford's Global Digital Policy Incubator and the XPRIZE Foundation organized a one-day conference entitled Human-Centered AI. The conference was a series of cross-sector conversations aimed at developing policy, product, and action plans to build trust, democracy, and “human rights by design” in the field of artificial intelligence.
During their opening remarks, Eileen Donahoe, the Executive Director of Stanford's GDPi and Amir Banifatemi, XPRIZE Group Lead of AI & Frontier prepare the audience for deeper conversations around Human-Centered AI, potential benefits and adverse impacts of AI, human rights implications of AI, and more.
