In 1998, there was a PSA that was suddenly broadcasted to all of Australia urging people to toss out their Australian region Super Mario 64 cartridges. Apparently, some kid was playing it on their N64 when suddenly, the next morning, the parents of the kid found them on the floor crying with stab marks all over them. When the parents asked their child what happened, the kid pointed at the cartridge which was now shattered on the ground. Rightfully, the parents reported this to Nintendo and they luckily took it very seriously, recalling all cartridges from every store in Australia. However, it’s been said that there are some cartridges still floating around.
NOTE: The PSA presented in this video is a work of fiction intended for entertainment purposes only. None of the events presented actually happened. Australian Super Mario 64 cartridges, like any other video game, are completely safe and do not pose any harm to players or their families. This PSA is a product of imagination and should not be taken as real or factual.
