Ban Ki-moon, President and Chair of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) and former Secretary-General of the United Nations gave an opening statement at the Sixth Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP) Annual Conference, which focused on the theme of "Inclusive solutions for the green transition: Competitiveness, jobs/skills and social dimensions".

The conference was held in conjunction with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) 2018 Green Growth and Sustainable Development Forum (GGSD) on 27-29 November 2018 in Paris, France.
