Hari Om!
Swami Aparajitananda analyses minutely the 'seeing' of Mahātmās and explains that their seeing is experiencing inside as Consciousness and outside in the light of Consciousness. Paying attention is "not ignoring, but witnessing" - a habit.
Verse 11
Swamiji elaborates on necessary requisites to see and seek Him as Yogīs do. Right means, direction, purpose, attitude and effort to develop jñāna chakshu are discussed with examples making all very clear.
The terms vimūdhāhā, akritātmāhā, achetasaha used for others i.e. impure minds, having academic interest only, egoistic, not having faith, etc. are explained and discussed in depth to alert us where we are stuck.
The right direction stages, viz. Karma Yoga, Upāsanā, Meditation, Shravana, Manana, Nididhyāsana are simplified in detail to signify the importance of Scriptures, Guru and Guru-paramparā. The suggestion is to make Self Knowledge our own and not to do suicide by ignoring It because Bhagavān wants us all to reach Him at the earliest.
TOPIC: I am the Universe also.
Verse 12: Swamiji draws our attention to -
• In verses 7 to 11, Bhagavān is jīvātmā.
• In verses 12 to 15, Bhagavān is jagat and verse 12 reminds of Chapter 10. How in all great phenomena, the glory is God's Glory. Examples of Tapovan Maharaj and Tulasidas ji are given to suggest to train our mind to think as devotee and hold on to God only.
Verse 13 indicates how Bhagavān with ojas - energy and in 'rasa' form supports and nourishes world, plants, etc.
Verse 14: How Bhagavān in the form of digestive fire helps us is simplified in detail.
