This week we are going to do another collage because they’re lots of fun. In particular we are going to focus on something called ‘Intuitive Collage’.
📆 BEFORE FRIDAY:
Grab some magazines, stickers, scrapbook ephemera - whatever you have, sit somewhere comfortable and quiet your mind. Take three, slow deep breaths and simply follow the breath, in and out. Sinking your awareness deep into your body and quiet the noise in your mind.
Then I want you to go through your ephemera/scrapbook stuff/stickers or magazine pages and choose/tear out 10-20 pages or elements that speak to you.
To do that quickly flip through your collection or magazines and trust your intuition to instinctively pull out 10-20 pages that make you feel something, whether that’s excitement about a fantasy holiday, some beautiful flowers, some Bee’s, a cute dog.. or even if it moves you negatively.. choose those elements and keep them somewhere safe for our session on Friday.
🎨 SUPPLIES:
White Card/Journal
Glue sticks (like Pritt stick or Elmers glue)
Stickers/Washi Tape
Markers/Paint Pens

🎨 👋 NEW HERE?
Here's what you need to know -- I believe to my core in helping people like you ease your symptoms of depression and anxiety (or other mental health issues) through creativity.
My name is Claire D (hence the ClaireDTV Youtube Channel), I'm an art therapist and I'm also a spoonie. I've been running the Heart Handmade UK brand for 12 years now and recently I realised that my chronically ill and disabled crafting community weren't getting access to the resources they needed.
🎨❓WHAT IS ART THERAPY?
It’s expressive art therapy. Art Therapy is an amazing way to work on complex mental health issues and I’m going to share an impactful art therapy technique that will help if you struggle to verbalise what you’ve experienced or what you’re feeling. Feel free to join us every Friday at the times listed above. We can’t wait to have you there!
Please note the supply list link is an affiliate link - thank you so much for supporting us and sharing the love
