Image: Instagram Days after Sushant Singh Rajput's third death anniversary, Maharashtra deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis made a statement regarding actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his manager, Disha Salian's case in an interview on June 28. The Maharashtra deputy CM said authorities are gathering primary evidence in the case. Statement of Deputy CM Fadnavis When asked about the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe that had been ordered in the case, Deputy CM Fadnavis mentioned that the credibility of the evidence is being examined and the investigation is still underway. He further said that initially, the information available on the case was based on rumours, but gradually, as the individuals claimed that they possessed substantial evidence, efforts were made to gather and examine it. Rajput, a leading Hindi film actor, allegedly died by suicide on June 14, 2020. The controversial death case was handed over to the CBI in August 2020, and the agency has been looking at multiple aspects, including the circumstances leading to his death. His manager for a brief period, Disha Salian died days before him, by allegedly falling to death from the 14th floor of an apartment.
