However, the result has been the opposite of what was expected: Argentina is set to extend what is perhaps already the longest quarantine and social distancing strategy in the world. Despite this, the country’s infection rate is on the rise.

So, what's going on? Why do things seem to be going so wrong in this country? How could the coronavirus affect Argentina’s already troubled economy? In this video, we try to get closer to the answers.
