The IOCDF Faith & OCD Roundtable videos bring together individuals with OCD, clergy, and clinicians for a collaborative conversation on OCD – recognizing that faith and mental health treatment do not have to be mutually exclusive.

Ted Witzig serves as the Clinical Director of Apostolic Christian Counseling and Family Services in where his clinical practice focuses on anxiety and mood disorders. He specializes in treating OCD/scrupulosity and primarily obsessional forms of OCD. Ted is an Ordained Elder in the Apostolic Christian Church of America, a denomination of the Anabaptist tradition. His roles as clinical psychologist and pastor give him a special desire to help those whose OCD has become entwined in religious and moral matters. Valerie Andrews is a retired schoolteacher and full-time wife, mother, and grandmother. Following her OCD diagnosis in 2011, she began advocating in hopes of bringing awareness and inclusion within her own community and communities of faith. Today, she spends the majority of her time focusing on her new nonprofit (msmablesparrows, Inc) a nonprofit for women of age, color, and faith. Her goal is to continue working as an IOCDF Advocate and promoting change.
Justin K. Hughes, MA, LPC, owner of Dallas Counseling, PLLC, is a clinician and writer, passionate about helping those impacted by OCD. He serves on the IOCDF's OCD & Faith Task Force and is the Dallas Ambassador for OCD Texas. Working with a diversity of clients, he also is dual-trained in psychology and theology, regularly helping anyone to understand the interaction between faith and OCD, most commonly Christians. Rev. Dr. Christopher McKee, Jr., proudly serves as the eighth senior pastor of the historic First Baptist Church of Oakland (The Church of Oakland) in Jacksonville, Florida. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Dr. McKee holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History (Youngstown State University), a Master of Divinity Degree (Yale Divinity School) and a Doctor of Ministry in Transformational Leadership (Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School). Dr. McKee was raised in a home deeply committed to Christ and the Lord’s Church. Saved and baptized at the age of 8, and called to preach at age 18, Dr. McKee has continued to say yes to the call of Christ wherever the LORD may lead him.
With over 20 years of ministerial experience, Dr. McKee has worked and led within both congregational settings and community-based not-for-profit organizations. Dr. McKee is a minister of the Gospel, community organizer, advocate for holistic wellness and committed to equitable community building. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Lift Jax and Florida Black Excellence, he also serves as the faith-based sector committee lead for Blue Zones Jacksonville, and is a member of Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2024. Dr. McKee is a member of the NAACP, active with the work of Equal Ground Florida and a proud Brother of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. In all that Dr. McKee does, he seeks to glorify GOD, and live daily as a follower of Christ.
Dr. McKee and his wife Éres (Brown) McKee are the loving parents of two daughters. He enjoys traveling, reading, music, physical fitness, finding great restaurants, and spending as much time near water as possible.
