India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar visited Bangladesh and Bhutan this week aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation and exchanging views on key issues. On Thursday, Jaishankar called on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and held talks with his Bangladeshi counterpart. His visit was aimed at preparing the grounds for Hasina's visit to India. Jaishankar arrived in Bhutan on Friday, where he held meetings with the top leadership of the Himalayan kingdom.
