The culmination of a huge amount of hard work over the past year. The stunning Minardi M194/5. I have been lucky enough to have driven a fair few F1 cars but this is one of the most special.
Designed by Aldo Costa and driven by Italian motorsport legend Pierluigi Martini in 12 Grand Prix in 1994.
This very chassis recorded two 5th places at the Spanish and French Grand Prix. Powered by a Cosworth V8 HB with a Minardi/Xtrac gearbox, this car is seriously rapid. 660bhp, 505kg and no traction control or power steering.
Very emotional to get this car back out on track for the first time since the Australian Grand Prix at Adelaide in 1994. Many thanks to @mjtech for their hard work and to @rmc_media for the fantastic filming!
