Just playing with 160m the sloper is my main dx antenna on 160m and i wasnt rxing people across town well i put up this long wire approx 20m long fed with a 4 to 1 balun my rx on local signals was much better as display i need to sort my amp on the ic 7300 as the am is better on the icoms from the ftdx 5000 which didnt have much swing:( rx on the 7300 is as good as the ftdx 5000 but thats to be expected. cheer vk3ktt
