Demonstrates how to read MyKad on a smartphone. Reads IC number, name, gender, citizenship, address, photo and driving license (if MyKad is used as driving license).

Uses ShowKad, which is probably the only free MyKad reading app on Android so far. Able to take a snapshot of MyKad. The snapshot has a white background, making it printer-friendly.

From version 2.0.0 onwards, ShowKad also supports execution via intent. So, any app can easily read MyKad without dealing with smartcard programming, reader integration or external libraries. Please refer to the ShowKad description in Google Play for sample code.
