Analog Devices ADALM-Pluto software defined transceiver transmitting on 2m amateur radio band. SDRangel freeware is used for transmit and a separate RTL-SDR dongle + SDR Console V3 was used for reception. SDRangel is on the left (transmit) and SDR Console is on the right. The transmitter (Pluto SDR) was about 100 feet away from the RTL-SDR receiver. The transmit antenna is an approximately 6 feet vertical dipole which is nowhere near optimal for 2 meters. Output power from the Pluto SDR is estimated at 280mw.
I'm just getting started with the Pluto SDR but I like it so far. It compares favorably with my HackRF One software defined transceiver. I purchased the Pluto SDR from Mouser.com for $143.
