The BMW R1200 GS Adventure was the motorcycle that I most feared when I initially bought my Triumph Tiger 1200 purely because the BMW R1200 GS is the godfather of Adventure bikes and the tiger is relatively new to the scene.
However, I found the BMW R1200 GS Adventure dull and uninspiring with it feeling dated and sluggish. The only time that I managed to get it to liven up was to have it cranked over in dynamic mode, and the bike was squirmy all over the place.
I hated the dash as it is something that is from the dark ages and all the "features" that are extras to the BMW R1200 GS Adventure should be a standard thing especially for a bike that is meant to be able to tackle the toughest terrain.
I did like how maneuverable the BMW R1200 GS Adventure was, though, and the low down weight did make it a pleasure to move about in traffic, but the severe lack of horsepower meant that I was in a constant search for something that it would never be able to deliver.
I hope you like the video and I hope that you stick around as I have some new videos all ready to come out in the coming weeks.
