I show how to install a hop-up to extend the range and accuracy of the GELTACTICAL Lightning Blaster MRT Nylon version. This is a very high-quality blaster. It has an outer barrel with a standard reverse thread on it, but it comes with an orange tip that is glued on by the factory. Watch this video to see how to break down the glue so that the orange tip can be removed, allowing access to the inner aluminum barrel on which the hop-up needs to be installed.

The Geltactical Lightning Blaster is a very high-quality, solid blaster. It comes stock with a hybrid metal-plastic gearbox. The motor pinion and bevel gear are metal, which are some of the highest wear gears (the bevel gear is usually the first thing to strip in plastic gearboxes). The construction of the Lightning Blaster feels very good. Everything is made of high-end nylon. The inner barrel is aluminum and measures 9.5mm on the outside, which is the common standard for gel blasters, which means that the hop ups will fit well.
