Hybrid SUVs are a great idea...in theory. We're going to test that theory with the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid. This is the only traditional hybrid SUV at this size. All of the others can plug in. So today we'll find out if the Corolla Cross Hybrid is in a league of its own, or if there's a reason other automakers aren't doing this.
