Sofa Table Sp15 Maquette - Top rails, glass top, and finished assembly.
To properly visualise the design, I make a maquette (scale model). Today, I'm preparing the two top rails, using some plastic for the glass top, making a sub-top, and assembling the whole table.
Since this is mostly pretty straight forward, instead of me talking the whole way through, you can listen to more great music from Daring Project. Check their youtube channel out.
I use most of the techniques which I would for the full-size table, only on a small scale. I find this both fun to do, but more importantly, revealing of potential problems.
