Often it's great to attack a problem from different angles to be able to solve the problem or obstacle. In this case the problem is a huge one, and it's sustained fusion. There's a startup based in UK that did just that. They attacked the fusion problem from a different angle and have accomplished a lot in that effort. Maybe a that's what's needed. A fresh set of eyes that see things differently.
