The Shred Sled has more width in the nose than your normal short board, and you definitely notice the extra float when you're paddling around.
The tail of the Shred Sled looks a bit different than most boards with a similar wing placement in the plan shape. Behind the wing of the Shred Sled, Hayden put a rounded tail instead of what most are used to seeing behind wings - a swallow tail.
The Shred Sled has quite a big of flip in the nose, and enough tail rocker to make you feel loose in the pocket. It likes to be turned, pumped and pivoted in the pocket, not pushed down the line.
