(Part 1 of 5): the 2008 Russian documentary film about Georgy Pavlovich Vinogradov (1908-1980).

This is from the series Anniversary (Юбилей) and this episode is called: Пять штрихов к портрету (100 лет со дня рождения - Георгий Виноградов), 2008

The lady in the grey blouse who appears at the beginning is Elizabeta Uvarova, doctor of arts and professor.

Although Vinogradov was filmed for television in the 1940s or 50s, that film seems to have disappeared. The only film of him singing which I am aware of, is the footage of the Alexandrov Ensemble's Berlin peace concert of August 1948, in which there is a short clip of Vinogradov singing "Oh Roads". I understand that that film is in a German archive and is unavailable to us.

However at the end of this documentary you will see a clip of him speaking.
