Without hesitation I jumped at the opportunity to create an entirely new CGA lifejacket with Jet Pilot. One of the biggest things I wanted to get out of this new vest is for the rider to feel like they aren't wearing a CGA (Coast Guard Approved) life jacket because it's the bulky and constricting feeling of many CGA vests that keeps so many people from choosing to make the right choice. Too often I see people struggling to stay afloat while sitting in the water with their wakeboard on or getting up on a wakesurfer. And this is when they are completely capable and have their whereabouts. There are no two ways about it. We are not only riding boards and pretty fast speeds and at risk of hard impacts to our bodies and heads, but we are doing it on the water. Don't take the chance of not being found or not being able to find someone. Don't ride without a CGA vest and don't let your family or friends do it either.
We do so many things in life to make the safe choice and to me this is an easy one.
