Welcome to One Minute of Wine - a daily video series from Elma Wine & Liquor. Join Tim as he reviews a bottle of wine everyday in sixty seconds or less. Today Tim reviews Sheldrake Point Gamay Noir. Sheldrake Point is a winery in the Finger Lakes region in New York, more specifically Cayuga Lake. The Gamay grape is very light skinned/light grape very popular in Beaujolais wines from France. A nice earthy aroma with hints of cherry. Very light and refreshing with those notes of cherry and sweet tobacco. No real tannins but nice and easy drinking. Cheers!
