Chicken Parm Burgers
1 Tbsp Oil
1 1/2 lb Ground Chicken
3/4 C Italian Bread Crumbs
3 - 4 Cloves Garlic - minced
1/3 C Parmesan Cheese - grated
2 tsp Italian Seasoning
1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
Salt & Pepper to Taste
1/4 C Fresh Parsley - chopped
2 C Marinara Sauce
8 oz Fresh Mozzarella - sliced
Fresh Basil - sliced
Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns
In a large bowl mix ground chicken, bread crumbs, garlic, parmesan cheese, italian seasoning,
red pepper, salt & pepper. Shape into patties.
Drizzle oil in skillet, cook on medium to high heat 5 minutes, turn cook for 3 - 4 minutes. Pour marinara sauce into skillet. Place fresh mozzarella on top of burgers. Cover and lower heat. Simmer 10 - 15 minutes.
Garnish with sliced basil.
