Heading “Up North” for vacation is a tradition for many people around the Great Lakes region. That includes bad guys. A retired history professor did some research and found that a few notorious gangsters spent their down time in Northern Michigan. But not all of them were able to leave the “office” behind and completely relax. Some went north to mix a little “business” with their pleasure.
