Students at McDonogh 35 Senior High School in New Orleans created this video to educate their peers about the school-based health center located at the school.
A school-based health center (SBHC) is a medical office on a school campus that offers quality healthcare for students during the school day. SBHCs are staffed by a team of doctors, nurses and mental health professionals. Services offered include: physical exams; vaccinations; health screenings; treatment of minor illness or injury; care of chronic diseases; and mental health and substance abuse help and counseling services.
