Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with Prime Minister of the Chinese State Council Wen Jiabao during his visit to Beijing on Wednesday. The meeting took place at the Diaoyutain State Guesthouse.
They discussed the strategic partnership between Russia and China. Wen Jiabao said that the strengthening of ties between the two countries not only meets their fundamental interests but also plays a key role in maintaining peace and stability worldwide
Putin mentioned that a meeting between the Russian and Chinese heads of government is planned for this fall and it should become another step toward strengthening strategic partnership and interaction.
