Luggage Scale Method: Step on the scale and weigh yourself. Now step off and grab your luggage. Get back on your scale holding the luggage and remember that weight. Now subtract your weight from the weight of you holding the luggage and now you have ~approximately~ how much your bag weighs! This definitely helps me gauge if my bag is overweight!
