Learn how to play "Auld Lang Syne" on the ukulele! This kind of tutorial is my FAVORITE kind of tutorial because it is:
1. EASY to teach.
2. EASY for YOU to start playing right away.
3. EASY on the ears because this song is soooo underrated, but so beautiful too!
"Auld Lang Syne" is an old Scottish song based on a Robert Burns poem. The words "auld lang syne" basically mean "a long, long time ago" or of "olden times" or "a time long forgotten," so the text is talking about the wonderful times spent with those you love. I adore this song around the holidays and as it is so easy to play, I hope you will enjoy playing it too :) While it is usually played at New Years Eve, it can also be used as a concluding times song or a new beginnings song, and as 2020 comes to a close (THANK GOODNESS) I, for one, will certainly be thinking of "auld lang syne."
