After 33 members were suspended from Lok Sabha, several Rajya Sabha MPs were suspended for the remainder of the Winter Session of the Parliament after they created a ruckus inside the Upper House over the Parliament security breach incident.
This comes after 33 Opposition MPs were suspended from Lok Sabha earlier today.
The suspended MPs from Rajya Sabha include Congress' Jairam Ramesh, Randeep Surjewala, and KC Venugopal, TMC's Sukhendu Sekhar Ray and Santanu Sen, and RJD's Manoj Kumar Jha.
Opposition MPs staged a protest on the stairs to the Parliament. 33 MPs from Lok Sabha and 34 from Rajya Sabha were suspended today.
