Rimac has become quite famous in the electric car community for their outlandish cars with insane performance figures, along with Richard Hammond’s crash of their Concept 1 hypercar. Their latest car, the Nevera, currently holds the world record for the fastest quarter-mile time of a production car at 8.5 seconds. This is all made possible by electric motors that produce over 1,900 horsepower.
For their next endeavor, they are doing something completely unrelated to automobiles: building a new HQ. They have started construction on their new “Rimac Campus” and it will be one of the largest combined R&D (research and development) and production factories in Europe.
The entire “Campus” is a massive 200,000 square meter site, with an on-site test track, a museum, and design, engineering, and production facilities. More cool features of the HQ include a swamp, a rooftop garden, a command center, and several project rooms. There will also be a customization studio, a bar, retail space, a games room, gym and training center, restaurant, and even a kindergarten.
Will this endeavor by Rimac be successful? Subscribe to find out.
