Kaasi (Sathyaraj) is a womaniser, who misunderstands Gayathri (Devayani) to be a call girl. Obviously Gayathri hates him for his behavior. Later, Kaasi realizes that Gayathri is his best friend Vishwa's (Ranjith) girlfriend, and so he backs off. But, on the day of the marriage Vishwa disappears, leaving Gayathri stranded. Kaasi provides her accommodation in his house which she unwillingly accepts. Gayathri's opinion about Kaasi changes slowly with time. However, Vishwa returns with plans and how Gayathri deals with the situations and what happens to Kaasi forms the rest of the story.
