*Update*
Once again - for the fifth or sixth time in a row - CBS has filed a baseless copyright claim in what seems to be a naked attempt to suppress videos critical of their garbage shows.
100% of their past claims have been overturned on appeal, because they’re baseless. But CBS will continue to abuse the content ID system because YouTube does not punish big corporations for vexatious misuse of their processes.
I can more or less guarantee this will be overturned in around a fortnight, once all our momentum has died. (I can more or less guarantee we’ll go through exactly the same thing next time.) In the interim, kindly join us in giving CBS the metaphorical finger. If they don’t want people criticising their garbage shows, they should stop producing garbage shows.
*Update ends*
Star Trek Discovery Season 4 concluded on Paramount+ this month. And it's... not good. It's completely lost track of the philosophy that defined earlier iterations of Trek - the Original Series and The Next Generation, particularly - while the writing remains as awful as ever, doubling down on all that was bad about the previous seasons while jettisoning what little was good about them.
