The OCN team was informed of an entanglement involving a female seal and a pup, apparently tied together, at Pelican Point. The rescuers could only find two seal pups with spools of fishing line wrapped around their bodies. We're hoping this was the sighting we were informed about, and it might have been a mistake by the spotters who told us about them. Nevertheless, we can celebrate that these pups get to head back to the waters without the death traps around their necks! 🦭
