Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, or Jardin du Luxembourg to the locals, is one of the prettiest parks to visit during your trip to France! This garden is both peaceful and buzzing all at the same time. There's plenty of space to spread out and offer many activities. One of the most iconic activities for the kids includes the opportunity to rent the wooden sailboats near the bassin. It includes a stick that they use to push the boats all around the fountain. This is actually a tradition that is over 90 years old! So rent a boat and sit back and relax while the kids stay occupied.

The park also includes other fun activities like pony rides, an amazing playground, an antique carousel, marionnette shows (puppets), and more!

If you walk the entire park you'll find the adults enjoying their time as well as they relax with friends as they picnic or play tennis, petanque, chess, or card games. This park definitely has more of a locals vibe.

We trust our video will provide you with the true essence of the park. And given that this was filmed in the early fall of 2020, you can imagine the park would normally be even busier. And at the time of filming, and still ongoing actually, is the renovation work of the ever famous Medici Fountain. It is one of our favorite scenes of the park, simply beautiful! We'll have to do an update when it's open again.
