A dingo which attacked three people – including two children, on K'gari (formerly Fraser Island) has been put down.
The attacks took place in the Hook Point area on three separate occasions between January 4 and 15.
Wildlife authorities have confirmed the animal was euthanised humanely.
They claim the dingo showed signs of increasingly dangerous behaviour in recent weeks.
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service said it was also expanding its dingo safety messaging to help educate visitors, particularly when purchasing camping permits.
