TURTLECREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio (Larry Davis) -- Firefighters battled the elements on Tuesday after a farmhouse caught fire in Warren County.Firefighters from seven departments responded to the report of a chimney fire, but when first responders arrived on the scene they found much more than that.Flames were reportedly shooting out of the attic and second floor of the building.Flames were coming out of the back side where the chimney was, looked like it started out and got to the attic, said Turtlecreek Township Fire Chief Steve Flint. He said hes never cleaned the chimney since the house has been built. The chief also said the cold weather really wasnt that big of a problem. They did have several firefighters at the scene, but they didnt have to rotate out as often and were able to stay warm.Follow Larry Davis on Twitter @larrydaviswkrc, and LIKE him on Facebook.Follow us on Twitter @Local12 and LIKE us on Facebook for updates!
