In December 2012, Tendulkar announced his retirement from ODIs. He retired from Twenty20 cricket in October 2013 and subsequently announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, retiring on 16 November 2013 after playing his 200th and final Test match, against the West Indies in Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.
"To achieve your dream, you've got to chase it hard. There will be obstacles, there will be hurdles along the way, but keep pushing
yourself hard. There are number of occasions we push ourselves hard and then we turn back thinking that enough we tried and
it hasn't worked; whereas success is waiting for you around the corner! So don't give up! And passion allows you to push yourself
harder. Just find a reason to wake up in the morning and chase your dreams and push yourself harder!" ~ #SachinTendulkar
