Thrill of the Fight 2 is finally here BUT it's releasing today in VERY early access for just $10, meaning it only offers ranked & non-ranked online multiplayer fights at the moment with no single player content to speak of outside of customising your character and beating up the red training dummy. Much like the original game Thrill of the Fight 2 is a high intensity VR fitness experience that is best played with an at least 2.5 x 2m roomscale playspace, players with smaller rooms can play using artificial locomotion, but there is far more freedom and realism provided in the roomscale experience, it also acts as a MUCH better fitness game this way. My hope is that Thrill of the Fight 2 implements features like voice chat, damage represented on opponents and a few unlockable items in the short term before focusing on a single player campaign, training minigames, fitness focused modes and more customisation options in the future as we move towards full 1.0 release. Right now Thrill of the Fight 2 feels great to play and offers a solid, realistic, online VR boxing experience but players expecting the full suite of options, and a complete content offering like the first game, might be better waiting for future updates.

This Thrill of the Fight 2 VR gameplay / Thrill of the Fight 2 Quest 3 gameplay was captured natively in headset using a build that was provided to me at the beginning of launch week, so the experience displayed here will be very similiar if not identical to the Quest 3 early access experience on launch day.
