Seven people were killed after suspected cattle rustlers attacked Lopurio area in Samburu North. The herders were attacked by unknown raiders as they were grazing livestock. Seven others have been treated for minor injuries at the Merti Health centre. Police are on the hunt of the attackers while herds of livestock that were stolen have been recovered. Elsewhere, in Baringo County two schools have been closed after bandits attacked villages.
